Double & Triple-Glazed Sealed Units
ED Glass Limited manufacture sealed units to suit each individual requirement. All of our sealed units are made to order using an extensive range of glass types to meet any specification. We have a wide and varied stock to manufacture the best possible sealed units using the highest quality-rated glass suppliers.
We stock all of the Pilkington textured glass range, along with solar reflective glass, Pilkington’s Active (Self cleaning glass) and many tinted and coloured glass types. Please call or email for product brochures. We use INAGAS machine technology to ARGON or KRYPTON gas fill our units where required.
We also offer our customers to further personalise their sealed units but offering leaded glass, Georgian grilles, duplex spacers and bevelled and coloured film designs.
More recently, triple-glazed units have become more popular as they are proven to reduce the U value on standard double-glazed sealed units, offering the end customer a better, higher performing sealed unit, therefore making them more energy efficient to better the cost of energy bills.
ED Glass are now able to manufacture ultra thin sealed units, launching in 2011 our very own THINLite super slim double-glazed units. Manufacturing units from just 11mm thick, whilst still achieving a U value of just 1.4 W/m².K.* Please call for more details, or information on any of our products.

Our customers can feel confident in ordering their single and processed glass from us here at ED Glass. We have many years experience in ensuring our customers individual requirements and needs are met, and that their order is dealt with in a personal, and professional manner.
We have supplied many satisfied customers with bespoke glass shelving, balustrading, shower screens, painted/coloured glass splashbacks, polished and bevelled mirrors, sandblasted designed glass and all types of furniture glass.
We also offer toughened safety glass, Georgian wired and fire resistant glass, as well as standard and acoustic laminate, horticultural glass, picture frame glass and annealed glass. We offer a cut while you wait service on most glass types if required.
Vent or cat-flap holes
Becoming more increasingly popular we are able to manufacture sealed units, with a hole cut in them to house a vent or catflap.

The IGQA Mark
The IGQA mark has been developed to enable insulating glass unit manufacturers who comply to demonstrate that their i.g. units are manufactured to a high quality standard. The mark is awarded to those who have undergone and passed stringent auditing procedures specifically related to the quality of the insulated glass unit so that customers can confidently order i.g. units safely in the knowledge that standard levels of manufacturing quality have been surpassed.
The auditing scheme used has been developed following 40 years experience of working in the insulating glass unit industry, both in the UK and across Europe. The experience gained over this period has enabled the author to develop and offer the best possible system to ensure product quality is provided and maintained.
